This is a Voice Recording Study. We're actively seeking individuals with Southern US accents, Australian English accents, and native German, Italian and French speakers to join us on our journey to transform the way we understand spoken languages.
To participate, you must speak aloud and record your voice and screen while reading provided scripts. Participants are entered once they've submitted at least 1 hour of scripts, and the audio is approved. The recordings submitted will be used to improve text-to-speech (TTS) technology to work with a more diverse array of languages and accents.
The maximum you can record is up to 4 hours. We pay participants in 2 ways once the recordings are approved (1) per hour of audio recorded and approved, that meet quality standards (2) after 1 hour recorded, participants are entered into a competition to win FREE ground level tickets, airfare and hotel to see Taylor Swift in concert in Lisbon Portugal on May 25th. Winners will be chosen based on expressiveness, authenticity and audio quality.

We pay participants in 2 ways once the recordings are approved (1) per hour of audio recorded and approved, that meet quality standards (2) after 1 hour recorded, participants are entered into a competition to win FREE ground level tickets, airfare and hotel to see Taylor Swift in concert in Lisbon Portugal on May 25th. 2 winners will be selected.

Must be: US English speakers with Southern dialect, speakers with Australian English dialect, or native Italian, French and German speakers.

To become eligible, record a minimum of 1 hour of scripts, with minimal background noise on the Pulse Labs platform.

Participants (18+) will be compensated $30 USD per hour, for a maximum of 4 hours.

- Winners of tickets must also have a valid passport to travel to the concert location.

Frequently asked questions
What are the required qualifications to participate?
- You are a native speaker of one of the languages or accents indicated
- You're willing to record yourself narrating provided scripts
- Your recording is of good audio quality: Minimal background noise, clarity of voice, no errors, and voice modulation as required (All recordings would be processed through QA)
- You are able to go through an Audio screener to ensure you qualify, before starting the main project
How much time is the maximum amount of time I'm able to record?
- You can record up to 4 hours
When and where will this project take place?
This is a fully remote project taking place between March and April 2024. You'll only need to record a maximum of 4 hours for this project. You will participate using your account on Pulse Labs, where we will provide you with the scripts and guidance necessary to ensure the recordings meet our requirements. You can participate from the comfort of your home!
What are the steps to participate?

- Sign up for the Pulse Labs platform
- You'll receive an invite to start recording the scripts. First you'll record 30 minutes. Once this is approved, you'll be invited to record more scripts. You can access all details on your dashboard within the Pulse Labs platform. Remember, you must complete at least 1 hour of recording to get entered to win Taylor Swift tickets, hotel and airfare.
How much will I get paid and when?
- Payments will be processed in 1-2 weeks after Payment Mode confirmation. Payment types include: Gift Cards (including Amazon) and PayPal
